Flora & Fauna
Lush birch (Bhojpatra), pine, and deodar forests. Wildlife includes the Himalayan monal, musk deer, and occasionally langur monkeys in the lower valleys.
Local Culture
The region is rich in Garhwali folklore. The wooden temples are dedicated to local deities like Someshwar and Shiva, and locals are extremely welcoming.
